Yoga for Body Awareness is about landing in your body, coming home to your body, and establishing a loving relationship with your body (again). It is about accepting whatever sensation arises without trying to numb, fix or avoid it. Feel all the feelings, no matter how messy, heavy or uncomfortable they might be. It is about practicing being with those sensations instead of running away from them.
Unresolved emotions, stress, worries, and trauma can be stored in the body. It can feel like a heavyweight on the chest, a tight hip, or a bellyache. One way to resolve this is to get to know yourself.
